Substitute Bus Operator

About the Role

Substitute Bus Driver Reports To: Transportation Supervisor Job Goal: To transport pupils in a safe and efficient manner

and perform all activities related to the operation of the school bus. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License.

Must be able to drive an automatic or stick shift. Must be able to use all manual equipment inside the bus without

straining (manual door, stick shift and brake). Must be able to climb steps and move quickly without restrictions to the

back of the bus during a bus evacuation. Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the board. Sufficient

mechanical aptitude to diagnose minor problems and make appropriate repairs. Must be able to control emotions and
