About the Role

Dispatcher Job The Dispatcher is responsible for assisting in the scheduling and coordination of trucks and drivers

according to customer requests and in compliance with DOT regulations and company rules. Notifies drivers of assignments

reviews and verifies accuracy of driver's logs and data base. Coordinates proper loading and shipping order with SR

personnel. Set up loads to be shipped common carrier with outside freight companies. Coordinates routing of orders, and

dispatches carrier with orders and appropriate delivery instructions consistent with customer receiving times. Answers

questions and resolves supplier and customer problems regarding transportation issues. Documents any shortage on orders,
