Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) The Motor Assistance Vehicle

Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients' care within the scope of certification.

Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo

transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled

nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to

ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters.
